Properties and effects:
by regular massage of the perineum, the tissues are prepared for childbirth, they become soft and stretchable;
the mixture of essential oils is specially created for the sensitive perineal area;
does not contain synthetic dyes, fragrances, preservatives and raw materials based on mineral oils.
Use : WELEDA oil for perineal massage can be used from the 34th week of pregnancy. Both the pregnant woman herself and her partner can perform the massage regularly 3-4 times a week for 5-10 minutes.
It is recommended to empty the bladder before the massage. Take a comfortable, relaxed position.
Lubricate your thumb (or index finger if a partner is doing the massage) and gently massage the perineal tissue in a sliding motion. Insert the finger into the vagina, adding the other finger. Massage rhythmically, making circular movements (as if the hand were moving from 3 to 9 o'clock), with light pressure on the walls of the vagina.
With each massage, the tissues and muscles will become more relaxed and soft. Massage the perineum until you feel a slight tremor, then continue massaging the tissue between the vagina and the anus. After the massage, the excess oil can be washed off with warm water.
WELEDA tip: Before the massage, especially for the first time, take a bath - it will soften the tissues and help stimulate their blood supply.
