These tomatoes are dried in the Italian sun. After drying, they are stored in extra virgin olive oil. It gives the tomatoes a particularly rich taste. Sun-dried tomatoes are delicious in salads or on piadina or sandwiches.
Cut into pieces and spread on salad, pasta or pizza. Chop and use as a tapenade base.
